Flavia Fedeles, MD

Dr. Fedeles is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and double board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. She is a graduate of Connecticut College, where she earned a BA degree summa cum laude in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology and was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.D. and MS degrees from the University of Connecticut Medical School and completed her dermatology training at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University where she served as chief resident. She completed fellowship training in dermatopathology at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Prior to joining Dermatology and Skin Care Associates, Dr. Fedeles was a clinical faculty member at Harvard Medical School and practiced dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital where she served as the Director of the Connective Tissue Diseases Program/Dermatology-Rheumatology Clinic for six years. She has published book chapters and peer-reviewed articles in top dermatology journals and has been an invited speaker at national and international conferences on various topics in autoimmune skin diseases, as well as mentored many medical students and residents. She is also an active participant in research and mentoring committees of the American Academy of Dermatology, Rheumatologic Dermatology Society and Women's Dermatology Society.
